Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) leader Raza Haroon said on Friday that PSP should not be regarded as merely a party of Karachi as it was a national political party.
Addressing a press conference at the local press club, he said they had received good responses from people during their April 30 visit to Lahore.
After completion of Multan visit, Gujranwala and Sahiwal would be our next stop overs to strengthen PSP network, Raza Haroon said. He added that PSP was determined to improve party’s network in all cities.
He said it was the mission of PSP to mend hearts that had been left broken due to sufferings they had undergone in the past.
He dispelled the impression that MQM had terminated his party membership and said that he himself had left the MQM. He alleged that MQM chief had links with some foreign spy agency.
Raza Haroon said there was a dire need to launch ‘character building’ campaign to guide youth to positive activities.
He said local government system should be strengthened to sort out people’s issues at their doorstep.
He said both MQM and Haqiqi group had lodged cases against each other in the past. He said our party was struggling for the rights of people.
He expressed concerns over the death of MQM activist Aftab Hussain.
He said he had offered condolences to his family. Raza Haroon hailed DG Rangers for taking notice of the death and initiating inquiry.
He said challenging a big political party in the biggest city of the country was a gigantic test for PSP. He said he had broken 32-year-old affiliation with MQM and joined PSP.
He said the PSP was emerging as a torch bearer with new thoughts to bring about positive change.
